Our offerings include the Golden Signal brand, including The Golden Protocol, The Golden Thread, The Golden Read, and related programs and materials, as well as our Advocacy Solutions services.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

By using the Site or providing personal information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.

  • Registration and participation information associated with training programs, workshops, courses, or events.

  • Survey responses, program feedback, or evaluations you voluntarily provide.

  • Information you provide when purchasing products or services.

  • Messages, questions, drafts, or other text you submit to The Golden Read for communication analysis.

  • Information you provide when subscribing to newsletters or other communications.

  • Communications you send to us by email, through the Site, or through another authorized communication channel.

Advocacy Solutions Client Information

If you engage Advocacy Solutions, you may choose to provide additional personal information necessary for us to assist you. Depending on the nature of the engagement, this could include information concerning family circumstances, insurance matters, healthcare systems, benefits, employment, financial circumstances, legal or administrative processes, or other sensitive personal situations.

We do not ask you to provide this type of sensitive information through general website contact forms or The Golden Read.

Information provided as part of an Advocacy Solutions engagement is also subject to the applicable Scope of Practice & Disclosure Statement, Client Acknowledgment and Consent, and any other client agreement governing the engagement.

Payment Information

If you purchase a product or service, payment information may be collected and processed by the payment provider used at checkout.

We do not intentionally store complete credit card or financial account numbers on our own systems when payment information is processed directly by a third-party payment provider.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • IP address.

  • Browser and device type.

  • Operating system.

  • Pages visited.

  • Referring pages.

  • Approximate geographic location derived from IP address.

  • Date and time of visits.

  • Site interaction and usage information.

  • Cookie and similar technology identifiers.

This information may be collected through Wix and other analytics or technology services we use to operate and improve the Site.

2. The Golden Read and AI Processing

The Golden Read allows you to submit text for analysis of tone, clarity, communication patterns, and possible alternative wording.

Text submitted to The Golden Read is transmitted to Anthropic's commercial API for processing.

We do not use text submitted through The Golden Read to train our own artificial intelligence models. Anthropic currently states that inputs and outputs submitted through its commercial API are not used to train Anthropic's models by default unless the commercial customer expressly opts into such use or otherwise provides the information for feedback or model improvement.

Anthropic currently states that API inputs and outputs are ordinarily deleted from its backend systems within 30 days, subject to limited exceptions including legal requirements, enforcement of its usage policies, or different contractual retention arrangements.

The Golden Read is provided for communication and educational purposes. Because text submitted for analysis may contain information about both you and other people, we strongly encourage you to:

  • Remove names and identifying information whenever possible.

  • Avoid submitting confidential business information.

  • Avoid submitting passwords, Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, medical records, protected or privileged communications, or other highly sensitive information.

  • Submit only information you have the right or authority to provide.

Additional restrictions regarding use of The Golden Read are contained in our Website Terms & Conditions.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and requests.

  • Schedule consultations, discovery calls, workshops, or client sessions.

  • Provide Golden Signal products, programs, training, and services.

  • Operate and improve The Golden Read.

  • Provide Advocacy Solutions services.

  • Administer workshops, programs, registrations, and participant communications.

  • Analyze Site performance and understand how visitors use the Site.

  • Maintain business, financial, contractual, and administrative records.

  • Protect the security and integrity of the Site and our services.

  • Prevent fraud, misuse, or unlawful activity.

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We will not use sensitive Advocacy Solutions client information for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

4. Research and Program Evaluation

Golden Signal programs may include voluntary surveys, assessments, feedback forms, or other evaluation activities intended to measure program effectiveness or improve program content.

If information is collected specifically as part of an academic or formal research study, that collection will be governed by the applicable research notice, informed-consent process, or other study-specific documentation rather than this Privacy Policy alone.

Participation in research will not be inferred merely from participation in a Golden Signal program.

5. How We Disclose Information

If we begin using technologies for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising, we will update this Privacy Policy and applicable cookie controls accordingly.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including providing services, maintaining appropriate business and accounting records, resolving disputes, and satisfying applicable legal obligations.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the relationship involved.

For example:

  • Contact and inquiry information may be retained for a reasonable period following the inquiry.

We may retain information longer where required by law, necessary to resolve a dispute, or reasonably necessary to establish or defend legal rights.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, loss, or disclosure.

Our service providers maintain their own security controls for information processed through their systems.

No internet transmission, website, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may contact us to:

  • Ask what personal information we maintain about you.

  • Request access to personal information you have provided.

  • Request correction of inaccurate information.

  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal, contractual, and record-retention requirements.

  • Withdraw from marketing communications.

  • Ask questions about how your information is used or disclosed.

Every marketing email we send will include a method for unsubscribing.

Certain state, national, or international privacy laws may provide additional rights depending on where you live, the nature of your relationship with us, and whether the applicable law applies to our business. Where such laws apply, we will honor the rights required by those laws.

If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 without the authorization required by law, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us.

11. Third-Party Websites and Services

The Site may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information processed by T. Golden Advocacy Solutions, LLC. Third-party websites and services maintain their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.
