ADVOCACY SOLUTIONS
You don't need someone to fix it for you.
You need someone who won't let you face it alone.
I help people make sense of the systems and processes standing between them and what comes next, from benefits
and job searches to paperwork, resources, and legal or administrative processes that nobody seems to explain clearly
HOW THIS WORKS
What if you didn't have to figure
this out by yourself?
When you are dealing with a system you do not understand,
advice is everywhere. What is much harder to find is someone
who will sit beside you, help sort through the information, figure
out what actually applies, and identify what to do next.
That is where I come in.
I help you research the process, organize what matters, understand your options, prepare the right questions, and communicate clearly with the people or organizations involved.
You stay in the driver's seat. My job is to make sure you are not driving blind.
The goal is not for me to become someone you cannot navigate without. It is to help resolve what is in front of you while giving you a better understanding of how to handle what comes next.
WHAT ADVOCACY CAN LOOK LIKE
Three ways I show up

Navigate It
Together
Build Your Own Capability
Partnership, not a handoff.
Clarity now.
Confidence later.
I can help research resources, organize paperwork, prepare questions, review correspondence, and think through the next step with you.
The goal is for you to leave with more than an answer. You should understand the process better and feel more capable of advocating for yourself the next time.
Understand the System
The obstacle is specific. The help should be too.
We start by figuring out what is actually happening, what information matters, what applies to your situtation, and what may be missing.
WHERE I CAN HELP
Sometimes you know the problem. Sometimes you just know you are stuck.
You may be:
Needing a second pair of eyes on an important email, application, document, presentation, or other written material before you send it
Looking for proofreading, editing, or help making something clearer and more professional
Looking for proofreading, editing, or help making something clearer and more professional
Starting a business or side venture and need help organizing the idea, thinking through next steps, researching requirements, or getting the basic pieces in place
Trying to understand benefits, eligibility, resources, or a denial
Working through paperwork or an administrative process you cannot get a straight answer about
Preparing for conversations with an agency, employer, attorney, school, provider, or other organization
Trying to understand the legal process and organize the information or questions you need before speaking with the appropriate professional
Facing a complicated situation and thinking, "I don't even know where to begin..."
You do not have to know exactly what kind of help you need before reaching out.
WHAT ADVOCACY IS NOT
Advocacy does not mean handing over your decisions.
It also does not mean confrontation.
Good advocacy can be as simple as knowing what to ask, understanding your options, communicating clearly, keeping good records, and knowing when the answer you received needs another question.
Advocacy Solutions does not provide legal, medical, financial, or other licensed professional advice. When your situation requires specialized expertise, I can help you get organized, prepare your questions, and understand what you need to take to the appropriate professional.
There may be an easier way through this.
If you have been opening the same form, rereading the same email, searcing for the same answer, or wondering who you are even supposed to call next, start there.
A short conversation is enough to tell me what is happening. We can figure out the next step from there.
